Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 3 - Queen River

Early mining practices destroyed the environment, polluted the rivers and poisoned the trees. It will take hundreds of years of responsible waste management and rehabilitation to recover from that. Modern day mining practices are much better of course but it is amazing to look at the devastation that still remains. This is the Queen River that runs through the centre of Queenstown.
